John Ruskin   1819 - 1900

It is unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey.

RUXTON BUMPER POOL

The Ruxton bumper pool table is the flagship of our entire line. Built in collaboration with  many executive and unit directors this game has what you need. Hardwood rails that are bolted (not screwed) to the frame, professional square nose cushions offer excellent rebound, a 1 3/4" framework to support the slate, hardwood legs and 6" leg levelers for stability, large commercial grade corner castings that are bolted (not nailed) to the rails, metal rail and apron trim all powdercoated to protect the table, steel ball cups (not plastic) with a metal locking ring protects the cloth,  and best of all, bumper posts of solid steel (not wood or plastic) with the rubber rings that slide on from the bottom means that the rings cannot be peeled off which eliminates the constant need to replace rings and posts. Without question the most durable bumper pool table ever made.
